OP HIDDEN DRAGON

Welcome to Operation hidden dragon. After the 3rd Marines were ordered to pull out of N'Ziwasogo our work there for the moment has been put on hold. SOG has now been reassigned to the province of Da Krong in south vietnam. This area for the most part of the war has been marked as a quieter zone and was being utilized as an main supply route to other provinces in the region but recently enemy activity has increased dramatically. After the pro communist rebel group code name ‘Viet-cong’ made their presence known in our previous campaign many vietnamese civilians have joined their ranks seeing us as invaders who have come to take their land. The Viet-cong in this area have been using guerilla tactic to disrupt the movement of supplies on the main MSR , ambushing convoys then falling back into the jungle, dressing as civs to sneak into friendly territory and all round harassment to the point where the army have stopped using it altogether.They have also took control of a old french FOB which was abandoned when the french withdrew from the province. The PAVN were assigned to keep the MSR secured but have failed to do so and have asked the US for support . We have been sent here to help establish supplies being moved through the area but to do this we must first eliminate the viet cong in the area.
