OP NEPTUNE
Op Neptune turned out to be a lot more hassle than originally thought. M.A.C.V.S.O.G unit was assigned to visit a small island just north of the main airbase and discuss with a US officer plans for the island and its assets (Oil). On approach to the island by boat the unit took heavy fire from the coast. Viet Cong forces from within the island had taken control and M.A.C.V.S.O.G was forced to fight to get the island back.
